Shimanto Reza translates Dutch and Flemish literature into English. His translations of authors including Libris Prize winner Safae el Khannoussi and Sholeh Rezazadeh are commissioned by major UK and US publishers, as well as by the Dutch Foundation for Literature and Flanders Literature.

He serves as Managing Editor at World Editions and works independently with authors as an editor, supporting the development and refinement of ambitious literary and intellectual projects.

He also writes fiction, essays, and poetry in Dutch and English, and offers writing workshops informed by relational practice.
